About the role
LekeeWallet is live, with real members moving real money every day. We are now building the next generation of it, and the bulk of that build sits with an external delivery partner. This role owns that relationship and the result.
It is a delivery job as much as a product job. You will not write the code and you will not manage the people who do. You are the person who decides what finished looks like, signs off each milestone, and makes sure what arrives is what we asked for and holds up for our members.
What you own
- The delivery partner: scope, milestones, acceptance criteria, and the weekly cadence that keeps a long build honest. A missed detail found in week four is cheap; the same detail found at handover is not
- The handover: the platform arrives in phases and moves from partner-run to LekeeLekee-run. Planning that transfer, and building the team to receive it, starts on day one rather than at the end
- The live service: the wallet keeps serving members throughout. Zero regression is the standard, and migration planning is yours
- Compliance and licensing: the obligations that come with holding and moving money, worked alongside our compliance team and our regulators
- The numbers: cost per transaction, uptime, failure and dispute rates, activation, retention, average balance
First ninety days
- Embed with compliance: KYC, AML, NDPC and CBN guidance, and what each of them means for a build of this shape
- Embed with support: ride the wallet queue, and come back with the list of things that would empty it
- Sit with the wallet engineering team: learn the rails, the integrations and the failure modes as they are today
- Take over the delivery cadence and own the milestone schedule end to end

We are deliberately brief about specifics in a public advert. We will go through the scope, the partner and the timeline properly under NDA once we are talking.
Who we are looking for
- 4–8 years product management; at least one consumer product shipped at scale
- Exposure to marketplaces, payments, or super-apps products where transactions and trust are core
- Strong writing a brief an engineer, designer and lawyer can each read without follow-up
- Operational humility willing to sit on the support desk in Phase 1
- Remote, with London or Lagos available for the right candidate; we are global in outlook and run a follow-the-sun rotation across Europe, Africa, Asia and Latin America
