💐 ¡Feliz Día de Muertos!. Today, Latin America recognizes Día de los Muertos, or "Day of the Dead" a tradition that honors the lives and memories of loved ones who have passed away. A celebration of life, love and the impact we leave behind 🦋❤️🏵️
Across all of Latin America, Día de Todos los Santos (All Saints' Day) and Día de Muertos (Day of the Dead) are celebrated on November 1 and 2. On those days, Latin American families gather at cemeteries, lighting candles on their altars and preparing their ofrendas.
The celebration is a blend of indigenous practices from the ancient Aztecs and the Incas that blended with Catholic tradition.
Through family gatherings, meaningful traditions, and colorful offerings, this celebration reminds us of the enduring connections we share with those who came before us.
May this day be filled with remembrance, love, and connection for all who celebrate.
