*DAY 2 — THE GLORY OF GOD*
*Scripture*
1 Corinthians 10:31 (KJV)
“Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God.”
*Message*
The glory of God represents His greatness, majesty, holiness, and divine presence. Everything God created exists to reveal His glory, and as believers, our lives should bring honour and praise to His name.
God did not save us merely to enjoy His blessings but also to become instruments through which His glory is revealed. Our gifts, talents, achievements, relationships, and opportunities should point people towards Him rather than draw attention to ourselves.
Sometimes, people become so focused on personal recognition, success, and human applause that they forget the One who gave them the ability to succeed. Never allow your achievements to make you forget God. Whatever you accomplish, remember to give Him the glory.
Living for God's glory means demonstrating His character through our conduct. It means showing love, practising righteousness, speaking truth, serving others, and remaining faithful even when nobody is watching.
Jesus said in Matthew 5:16 that our light should shine before men so that they may see our good works and glorify our Father in heaven. Your life should make others recognise the goodness and faithfulness of God.
Today, examine your motives. Are you living to please God or to impress people? Make every decision, pursue every assignment, and use every opportunity in a way that honours Him.
The greatest achievement is not simply to become successful but to live a life through which God receives the glory.
*JPHM Declaration*
My life exists for the glory of God. My gifts, talents, resources, and achievements will honour His name. I will not seek personal applause above God's approval. My words, actions, and decisions will reflect His character. Wherever I go, my life will reveal His goodness and greatness. In Jesus' name, Amen.
*Prayer*
Heavenly Father, thank You for creating me for Your glory. Forgive me for the times I have sought personal recognition above Your honour. Help me to live with pure motives and use everything You have entrusted to me for Your glory. Let my character, service, relationships, and achievements point people towards You. May my life continually bring honour to Your name. In Jesus' name, Amen.
*Daily Challenge*
Examine one area of your life where you desire recognition or approval from people. Make a conscious decision to honour God instead. Perform an act of kindness, serve someone, or use your gift without seeking applause.
Remember: You were created to glorify God. Let your life, not just your words, reveal His greatness to the world.
*SHARE TO BLESS OTHERS*
*God bless you real good*
