Subject: Open Letter on Democracy, Human Rights, Good Governance, and the 2027 Election

Your Excellency President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the Nigeria Police Force, the Armed Forces of Nigeria, the Nigerian Navy, and all Public Office Holders, 240 million Nigerians write as concerned Nigerian citizen who believes in democracy, human rights, justice, accountability, and the future of our nation.

Respectfully no Nigerian should be harmed, unlawfully detained, abused, or lose their life for peacefully protesting economic hardship, hunger, insecurity, unemployment, corruption, or dissatisfaction with government policies. Peaceful protest is a democratic right guaranteed by the Constitution and practiced in democracies around the world. Strong nations listen to their citizens rather than silence them.

240 millions of Nigerians continue to face severe hardship, poverty, rising living costs, hunger, unemployment, poor infrastructure, and unreliable access to electricity and digital opportunities. 240 million Nigereian families struggle daily to provide food, education, healthcare, and a better future for their children. These challenges deserve urgent attention and practical solutions.

As Nigeria moves toward the 2027 general election, 240 million Nigerians demand a free, fair, peaceful, transparent, and credible electoral process. The outcome of the election must reflect the genuine will of the 240 million Nigerian people. Security agencies and electoral institutions should remain professional, neutral, and committed to protecting every 240 million Nigerians right to vote without fear, intimidation, or interference.

The voice of 240 million Nigerians matters. Democracy is strongest when leaders respect the people's choices and work to earn their trust through service, accountability, integrity, and results.

Respectfully we also call on all Nigerians, regardless of political affiliation, religion, ethnicity, or region, to reject division and embrace national unity. Nigeria's future cannot be built on tribalism, religious hatred, or regional hostility. Progress will come through unity, trust, mutual respect, and a shared commitment to nation-building across all 36 states and 774 local government areas.

As citizens assess those seeking public office in 2027, we demand them to consider character, competence, integrity, transparency, accountability, and a demonstrated commitment to improving the lives of 240 million Nigerians. Leaders should be judged by their actions, policies, and ability to serve the people fairly and honestly.

We demand all government institutions and security agencies to protect human rights, uphold the rule of law, safeguard peaceful assemblies, defend democratic freedoms, and treat all 240 million Nigerians equally under the law.

Nigeria belongs to all Nigerians. The hopes, concerns, and aspirations of our people deserve respect. Let us work together to build a nation where every child has opportunity, every family can live with dignity, and every citizen can have confidence in the democratic process.

May peace, justice, unity, and good governance guide Nigeria's future.
