You know, when I jammed @umeh20 ‘s post about fornication, the first thing I did was go to the comment section 😊 , and something struck me…
LEMME GIVE YOU GUYS ONE GIST…😉😉😉
A while ago, I was in a conversation with someone I fondly refer to as “My Bishop sir”. He was talking about how pained he feels whenever people find it difficult to give offerings or pay tithes, yet are very comfortable spending that same money on things sold close to the church…
As he was speaking, I understood his argument, but I had to interrupt him. It's that same interruption I'm going to drop here for your post…👌
You see, there's a way you come to know someone, a depth you reach with a person, so much so that anything that will bring them satisfaction & pleasure is what you long to do…
Yes.., there might be some human limitations, BUT your desire, regardless of what anyone thinks or says, would be to bring pleasure to this person. ESPECIALLY when this person defied all odds to bring fulfillment to your life.
BUT WHY WOULD YOU EXPECT a neighbor who is yet to know, or have any relationship with, “THIS FULFILLMENT BRINGER..,
this LOVE PERSONIFIED …,
this ANCHOR …
to see and do things that have to do with obedience to HIS statutes, an obedience that in the long run is for their own good🤷🏻♂️❓
So my conclusion was this….YOUR AUDIENCE MATTERS when you are passing a message.
If it’s about righteous and moral principles….,All righteousness, including that of those who don't practice fornication, is likened to filthy rags before God WHEN THAT INDIVIDUAL IS YET TO KNOW HIM OR HAVE A TRUE RELATIONSHIP WITH HIM🤷🏻♂️…(Isaiah 64:6)
A relationship with God reflects as a strong zeal and drive to obey His every word and precept which includes RIGHTEOUS LIVING 🤷🏻♂️‼️
"Line upon line, precept upon precept, here a little and there a little" (Isaiah 28:10)….
It's a growth journey for those who know Him truly and have Him living in them.
I'm sure you guys understand my drift. You're blessed, and I mean GREATLY blessed 🥰🥰🫂🫂😉😉
And as usual, I come in peace ✌🏽
