BE PART OF THE CHANGE
1 Timothy 2:1-3 KJV
[1] I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men; [2] For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty. [3] For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour;
The management of the earth and everything in it is an exclusive right of God. Even though people do whatever they like, the truth is that it would have been worse if there was no hand restricting some things. This is because whatever is not managed will become a problem. The world that was framed by God with the word of His mouth is still answerable to Him till tomorrow (Hebrews 11:3). The Bible says that there is nothing you do that will override what God intended for life (Proverbs 19:21). No matter what the plan of man is, it will never override the will of God. This means that God is in charge. However, most men, especially believers, have either forgotten or are ignorant that the world was meant to be co-managed by them and God. This is why God said that whatever you sanction on earth will be sanctioned in heaven.
Matthew 18:18 KJV
Verily I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever ye shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.
Beloved, you are not here just to do what you want and make the best of your life but to influence not only people but the earth for God. There should be something you do that makes the world a better place and not what you are able to grab. No man will remember or relish your presence in this world because of how wealthy you are but what value you added to life. This is why Apostle Paul advised his mentee to pray for people, especially those in positions of leadership. What are you doing about the wrongs you see in the society? It is not for you to complain but to take action. God did not create you to lament over the condition of the earth but to subdue and dominate the earth in such a way that nothing wrong or bad is allowed in your space. If you do not take everyone around you and things to God in prayers, then you are part of the problem. Pray for the security agencies for wisdom to silence crime and wrongdoings, politicians to manage the society well and be incorruptible, lecturers and teachers to train children well on the part of purpose and creativity. Pray for pilots to receive expertise and precision in flying men, for farmers not to be greedy to the point of using chemicals that are dangerous to the health of men, for farming because it will produce high yield or preserve food for price manipulations e.t.c. Until you do these, you will keep living in a society that does not allow you to enjoy life the way God wanted.

1. Father, I receive grace to pray for everyone I am responsible for.
2. Lord, help me to take steps to manage life as expected of God.
