There’s a difference between wanting more out of life because you genuinely desire it and wanting more because you see other people having more.

We begin to feel behind.

We start chasing things we probably wouldn’t have considered important if we hadn’t seen someone else enjoying them.

And the dangerous part? We can spend years pursuing a life that looks impressive to everyone else but doesn’t necessarily make us happy.

There’s absolutely nothing wrong with wanting financial freedom, a beautiful home, career success, meaningful relationships or a more comfortable life.

Where I can pursue my dreams without treating someone else’s timeline as a deadline.

Where I want more because it aligns with the life I’m building, not because I feel inadequate watching someone else live theirs.

A question worth asking ourselves: If nobody could see what we achieved, would we still want the same things?

I’d really love to hear people’s thoughts on this.
