2027 ELECTION: SHABA TAKES CAMPAIGN TO THE DOORSTEPS, ENGAGES ONA-ARA RESIDENTS

The African Democratic Congress (ADC) House of Representatives candidate for Egbeda/Ona-Ara Federal Constituency, Hon. Musibau Adesina Sanusi, popularly known as SHABA, has intensified his grassroots campaign ahead of the 2027 general elections, taking his campaign train to various communities across Ona-Ara Local Government Area.

During the community engagements, SHABA interacted with residents, addressed concerns and clarified issues surrounding his tenure as the former Executive Chairman of Ona-Ara Local Government, while reaffirming his commitment to grassroots development and people-oriented representation.

At Oniyefun General, residents reportedly commended the former council chairman for his contributions to community development and continued support even after leaving office. They also expressed their appreciation and pledged support for ADC candidates in the forthcoming elections.

The campaign train subsequently visited Saka-Eso/Akomeji, where SHABA supported an ongoing community development project with a cash donation and provided solar lights to address some of the community's needs.

At Alafialoju, comprising Itesiwaju and Oriire communities, the ADC candidate held another interactive session with residents, listening to their concerns and discussing issues affecting the people.

Speaking on behalf of the communities, Imam Salawudeen and other representatives appreciated SHABA for his continued contributions and support, while expressing their commitment to his aspiration.

As part of the outreach, the communities visited also benefited from the distribution of solar lights and other supportive materials aimed at addressing identified local needs.

The engagements provided an opportunity for direct interaction, accountability and renewed collaboration between the candidate and residents at the grassroots.

For SHABA, the journey towards 2027 goes beyond electoral promises; it represents an opportunity to reconnect with the people, account for past responsibilities and strengthen partnerships for sustainable community development.

The race for Egbeda/Ona-Ara 2027 is gradually gathering momentum as political contenders intensify their engagement with the electorate.
