The Unclaimed Salary Deposit.
You wake up to a bank notification showing an extra ₦1.8 Million deposited into your personal account from your former employer, who terminated your contract two months ago. You call their HR department to report the error, but the receptionist dismisses your call, stating their payroll accounts are fully audited and accurate. Your house rent of ₦1.2 Million is due tomorrow, and you currently have no other income source.
Do you use the money to settle your urgent rent after being brushed off by HR, or do you leave the funds untouched in your account to avoid future legal recovery?
