A Seven year old Idara had a loving father and a hardworking mother, Mama Idara, who sold provisions in a small market in Port Harcourt.
Every evening, they read storybooks together, and Idara dreamed of becoming a doctor.
“Daddy, you and Mummy will be proud of me one day!” she promised.
Her parents smiled, unaware of how quickly their happiness would disappear.
