Have you ever tried to visualize what it means to be a "new creation"? This image walks us through one of the most transformative verses in the Bible, step by step:
"I HAVE BEEN CRUCIFIED WITH CHRIST." A beautiful, albeit somber, reminder that our "old self" has been put to death. The shadow on the cross represents our sin.
"IT IS NO LONGER I WHO LIVE..." Our previous identity, with all its earthly attachments and anxieties (the house, money, documents), is left behind.
"...BUT CHRIST WHO LIVES IN ME." This is the moment of transformation! We become a dwelling place for Christ, filled with His light and the fruits of His presence: PEACE, JOY, LOVE, and RIGHTEOUSNESS.
"...AND THE LIFE I NOW LIVE IN THE FLESH I LIVE BY FAITH IN THE SON OF GOD..." Finally, our new life isn't lived in isolation; it's a daily walk. Each step we take is fueled by trust and dependence on Him, guided by the Word (the Bible).
"...WHO LOVED ME AND GAVE HIMSELF FOR ME." The anchor of it all. The nail-pierced hands holding the "LOVE SACRIFICE" heart remind us that this transformation is born from God's incredible love for us.
Let this image be a daily reminder of your identity and purpose in Christ. Your old life is gone; the new life is now! Which panel resonates with you the most today?
