HIS GREATER GLORY 2026
OCTOBER 2026 — OPERATION GOD THAT ANSWERETH BY FIRE: THE MONTH OF DOMINION AND POWER
MONTHLY PROPHETIC DECLARATION: “I CALL UPON THE LORD, AND THE GOD THAT ANSWERETH BY FIRE ANSWERS ME WITH POWER!”
TOPIC:
TEN TIMES BETTER: EXCELLENCE THAT SURPASSES EXPECTATION
KEY TRUTH:
Daniel and his companions were found ten times better than all the magicians and astrologers of Babylon. God’s people are graced to excel in every environment, even a hostile one.
SCRIPTURE
Daniel 1:20 (KJV)
“And in all matters of wisdom and understanding, that the king enquired of them, he found them ten times better than all the magicians and astrologers that were in all his realm.”
Supporting Scriptures (please read each one in your Bible):
● Daniel 6:3
● Daniel 1:17
● Proverbs 22:29
● Deuteronomy 28:13
THE REAL CHRISTIAN PROBLEM
Many believers accept mediocrity as normal, assuming that success belongs to the world’s system, while forgetting that God specializes in making His people distinctively superior.
REFLECTION
Daniel was a captive in a foreign empire with a pagan education system. Yet he purposed in his heart not to defile himself, and God gave him and his friends knowledge and skill in all learning and wisdom. When the king examined them, he found them ten times better than all his wise men.
Ten times better is dominion expressed through excellence. It was not arrogance; it was an excellent spirit. Through Christ, the Spirit of wisdom lives in you. Your grades, your trade, your ministry, and your workplace performance can carry a divine multiplier. Purpose in your heart, and let God add the ten.
NEW CREATION REALITY
The Spirit of wisdom and excellence dwells in me through Christ. I am graced to be ten times better.
CHRISTIAN CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT
● An excellent spirit
● Personal discipline
● Integrity at work
● Teachability
● Purposeful consecration
PRACTICAL APPLICATION
● Purpose in your heart today, as Daniel did, about one standard you will not compromise.
● Improve one skill this month through deliberate study or practice.
● Pray for wisdom before every major task this week.
● Deliver your work today with a quality that honors Christ.
● Refuse any shortcut that would defile your testimony.
MEDITATION
God’s grace on me produces ten times better results.
CONFESSION OF FAITH AND REALITY
I decree and I declare that an excellent spirit is in me. God gives me knowledge and skill in all learning and wisdom. I am the head and not the tail, above only and not beneath. In every examination and assessment of my life, I am found ten times better.
THREE SPIRITUAL WARFARE PRAYER POINTS
1. Father, fill me with an excellent spirit like Daniel’s, for the glory of Jesus Christ.
2. Every spirit of mediocrity, slackness, and underachievement, loose your grip on my life now in the name of Jesus Christ.
3. Lord, grant me knowledge, skill, and understanding that make me stand before kings.
PERSONAL REQUEST
Father, let my work, study, and service carry the mark of Your excellence this month.
PROPHETIC BLESSING FROM THE MAN OF GOD
Apostle Osondu Chigbo
I prophesy over you that the grace of ten times better is resting on you. In your workplace, in your studies, in your business and ministry, you will stand out. Kings will seek your counsel, and you will not stand before mean men. Amen.
