ENTERTAINMENT GIST: DAVIDO FACES ONLINE BACKLASH

Davido is facing criticism from some social media users following his uncle, Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke’s, decision to support President Tinubu.

Some users have threatened to boycott Davido’s planned three-night Lagos concert residency in December, while others believe the singer should not be blamed for his uncle’s political decisions.

This has sparked a bigger conversation about whether celebrities should be held responsible for the actions of their relatives.

QUESTION:Should Davido’s family connections affect how fans support his music, or should his career remain separate from his uncle’s decisions?
