Day 10 of #25DaysOfTribute: The Prayers Lifted

Attention! At ease.
Soldier, we are in Elysium,
already dead.

Not fallen.
Not lost.
Landed.

Wet my heart with heaven's tears.
Cleanse my breath with mercy.
Shower my soul with forgiving love.

Forgive us, Lord,
for we are but dust
lost without You,
found only in You.

Attention!. At Ease. Airmen, We are home

For my sins are washed away
by Your grace.

Lay my heart in heaven's roses.
Let my earthly body rest
in the waters.
Grant my family the fortitude
to rest and to forgive.
