Good evening Leekeeleekee families

Please I need your honest advice

I am a young man who recently got married, and honestly, I don’t know what to do about my situation.

When I met my wife, she told me she had only one child. I told her that having a child was not a crime and that I had no problem with it. We dated for six months, and during that period, I trusted her and believed she had been honest with me.

Eventually, I paid her bride price, and we had our traditional marriage. Since then, we have been living peacefully as husband and wife. She is currently seven months pregnant with twins.

However, something shocking just happened. My wife recently confessed to me that she actually has four children, not one as she initially told me. When I asked her why she had lied to me, she said she was afraid I would leave her if she told me the truth.

Honestly, I am confused and heartbroken. I am still a young man trying to build my life, and I thought I could manage the responsibility of raising one child. Because I have no any children of my own. I am just 30 years old. Now, I have discovered that I am expected to take responsibility for four children, and with the twins on the way, we will soon have six children.

My problem is not that she has children from a previous relationship. I accepted her when I believed she had one child. What hurts me most is that she deliberately concealed the number of kids she has from me before we got married I feel that I was denied the opportunity to make an informed decision about my future.

Right now, I don’t know what to do. I am worried about the financial responsibilities. I am only just starting my life, and this situation is overwhelming me.

Please, I need honest advice.

Leslie: Bro this is a tough one. Lying about 3 extra kids before marriage is a serious breach of trust, not a small mistake. You have every right to feel betrayed.

However you already married her and she is 7 months pregnant with twins. My advice: take some time, involve your families and a counselor, dis...
Augustine Chiagozie: Evening dear
Emzy: Serious breach of trust right there. Mehn, I'm tied now 🤔
unit Shadrach (TST): The biggest issue here is not that she has four children, but that she wasn’t honest with you before marriage. Marriage needs trust and transparency. My advice is to have a calm conversation, understand the full situation, and seek guidance before making any major decision. With twins on the way, yo...
King's view: Trust is everything in a union, once that's broken or not truly aligned from inception, I fear there may be more surprises ahead
Olufemi Gbenga Kolawole: Any marriage built on lie is bound to fail. On that ground alone, you can sue and ask for divorce. If you are just getting of 3 children outside, how many lies do you think she is still saving for your future heartbreak?

You need to approach the temple of justice.
MUSLIM NURUDEEN ALOWONLE: This one heavy, my sister.Your pain is valid — 100%. I will be honest with you.

Your problem is NOT that she has children. Your problem is that she robbed you of choice. And trust is the foundation of marriage. Once that foundation is cracked before the house even stands well, it's hard.

Wellness with happiness: Both family should have a meeting and agree on what to do, the other three children she didn't mention to you should go to their father. You can not come and kill yourself. Four children already?👀
Chinenye: Nice one,u are right my dear
MUSLIM NURUDEEN ALOWONLE: You said you can manage 1, not 4 + 2 twins = 6. That's honest. Ask yourself:
If those 4 kids remain where they are and you only support a little, can you cope ?
If they must all live with you, can you cope ?
Is your wife willing to work and contribute, not just bring children for you to s*ffer alone...
