Lagos music lovers witnessed an exciting combination of sounds as Afrobeat musician Femi Kuti and Fuji star Abass Obesere performed together at Felabration.

The event took place at the New Afrika Shrine on Thursday night as part of activities celebrating the legacy of the legendary Fela Anikulapo-Kuti.

Femi brought the Afrobeat tradition associated with his father, while Obesere added the energetic Fuji sound he is known for. Their joint performance gave fans a meeting of two distinct Nigerian music styles on one stage.
