🚨 JUST IN: “TINUBU IS GRAVELY ILL” — CLAIM IN BRIEFING SENT TO TRUMP SECURITY ADVISER SPARKS FRESH CONTROVERSY
A fresh political controversy is heating up in Nigeria after a briefing reportedly submitted to a person who advises U.S. President Donald Trump on international security raised serious claims about President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s health.
According to reports, the briefing was prepared by Mike Arnold, a former mayor of Blanco, Texas. Arnold reportedly alleged that Tinubu is “gravely ill” and warned of possible political instability if the President d1es before the 2027 election.
The briefing reportedly points to Tinubu’s extended foreign trip, his absence from the 2026 UN General Assembly and other observations as reasons for concern.
In fact, President Tinubu has previously dismissed health rumours, saying he was “healthy, sound, and ready to go.”
Still, the story has opened another major conversation among Nigerians:
How much should citizens know about the health of a sitting President, especially with a major election approaching?
And if a President becomes medically unable to continue in office, what happens to the country politically and economically?
For a nation heading toward the 2027 elections, these are serious questions — but rumours should not be confused with facts.
What do you think?
Should the Presidency publicly address these latest health allegations, or should Nigerians ignore them until credible evidence emerges?
Let's hear your thoughts. 👇
