Between an enemy and a traitor, the enemy is often less dangerous. An enemy stands against you, and you know where they stand. A traitor stands with you, earns your trust, and uses the access you grant them against you.

An enemy threatens your strength; a traitor exploits your trust.The enemy prepares you for battle, but the traitor makes you question everyone who stands beside you.

The real danger is not always who opposes you, but who has earned the privilege of standing close to you.
An enemy may defeat you, but a traitor can destroy what made you vulnerable to them in the first place.
