INVESTIGATION: ANTHONY KILA'S ‘DEGREES’

ARISE News wishes to advise our viewers that Anthony Kila, who has appeared on this network as a freelance political analyst will no longer appear on the ARISE News Channel following a damning investigative report by Premium Times revealing claims that he falsified his entire academic credentials.

We contacted Mr Kila on October 3rd 2026 with the allegations. He requested more time to respond and has not done so ten days later. The allegations have since grown more serious.

ARISE News was unaware of these claims at the time Mr Kila appeared on our platform. As a network that takes credibility and integrity extremely seriously his contributions to the ARISE News Channel are no longer tenable.

Mr Kila will not be appearing on our network now or in the future effective immediately.
