The pillar.
The provider.
The one who carries the weight
that knows no bounds.

One father lost his only son.
One father watched his son
commissioned just nine days
before eternity.
One father waits for a casket
instead of a homecoming.
But know this, fathers:
Your sons were not just yours.
They were ours.
They did their best.
They made you proud.
They are not lost.
They are at home,
resting in the palms of heaven.
The iroko does not fall.
It stands.
It endures.

You are the iroko.
And your sons will live forever
in the nation's heart.
