Most disappointing AI output is a briefing problem, not a model problem.

Four things turn a vague request into a useful one, and none of them require knowing anything technical.

Say who it is for. "Explain cloud storage" and "explain cloud storage to a shop owner who has never used it" produce completely different answers.

Say what you will do with it. An answer written to be read aloud is not the answer written to be pasted into a proposal.

Give it the constraints. Length, tone, what to leave out, what it must not assume. Constraints are not limits, they are the information that makes an answer fit.

Show it one example of good. A single sample of the thing you want teaches more than a paragraph describing it.

The pattern underneath is the pattern for briefing any competent stranger. You would not hand a designer the word "modern" and expect satisfaction.
