Kierkegaard was right: there is no path without regret. Choose your burden.

You may regret staying, but you may regret leaving.

Regret having children, or regret never having them.

Regret taking the risk, or regret playing it safe.

You cannot escape regret by refusing to choose. You only choose which regret to live with.
