SHE HEARD HER HUSBAND TALKING
At 1 a.m., she woke up and realized her husband wasn't beside her.
She heard him talking in the living room.
"I can't keep doing this."
She froze.
"She doesn't know anything."
Her heart started beating faster.
She quietly walked toward the door.
"If she finds out, everything will be ruined."
She pushed the door open.
Her husband turned around.
She stared at him.
"Who are you talking about?"
He looked terrified.
Then he said:
"You."
She nearly collapsed.
Then he continued:
"I'm talking about your illness."
She had no idea what he meant.
