Episode 3: The Secret of the Shrine
David runs out of the shrine in fear, clutching the mysterious necklace he unknowingly picked up before the voice warned him.
The moment he reaches home, the necklace begins to glow.
His grandmother gasps in shock.
"Where did you get this?"
David explains everything.
With trembling hands, she reveals a secret hidden for over thirty years.
The necklace belonged to Chief Johnson, David's father, who disappeared one night after trying to destroy the forbidden shrine.
Everyone believed he died in an accident.
But according to village legend...
He never truly left.
That night, David dreams of his father standing inside the same shrine.
His father says only one sentence:
"The truth is buried beneath the old silk-cotton tree."
David wakes up drenched in sweat.
The glowing necklace suddenly points toward the forest as if leading him somewhere.
Ada insists on following him despite the danger.
As they dig beneath the ancient tree, their shovel strikes a rusty metal box.
Inside are old photographs, faded letters, and a village map marked with a red circle.
Just as David opens the final letter...
Someone whispers behind them:
"You were never supposed to find that."
David and Ada slowly turn around.
A shadowy figure steps out from behind the tree, holding a machete.
