SAFETY TALK: ALCOHOL CONSUMPTION 🍺🚫

Today’s safety talk is about alcohol consumption and workplace safety.

Alcohol can affect a person’s judgment, concentration, coordination, reaction time, and decision-making ability. These effects can increase the risk of accidents, especially when operating machinery, driving, working at height, handling electrical equipment, or performing other safety-sensitive duties.

Important safety points:

- Do not report to work under the influence of alcohol.
- Do not operate machinery or vehicles after consuming alcohol.
- Never mix alcohol with work-related safety responsibilities.
- If you believe a colleague is impaired, report the situation to a supervisor or the appropriate safety personnel.
- Encourage one another to make responsible decisions both inside and outside the workplace.
- Follow the company’s alcohol and substance-abuse policy at all times.

Remember: One careless decision can lead to an injury, damage to equipment, or even loss of life.

Stay alert. Stay responsible. Stay safe.

Thank you.
