Meet Fred the Songbird.

While the rest of his flock made the smart, safe choice to travel together before sundown, Fred decided he was far too important—and far too fast—to follow the rules.

Strutting his brilliant cobalt-blue feathers and bright yellow chest through the indigo night sky, Fred was completely convinced he was untouchable. 🐦✨

Gliding alone through the dark, singing loud enough for half the forest to hear, he proudly boasted: "I am the fastest song bird alive! No predator bird can catch me tonight!"

Famous last words for Fred. Because high above in the shadows, a pair of massive, leathery wings and a finely tuned sonar system had other plans... 🦇👀
