Adekunle Gold is a Nigerian-born, Lagos-raised singer-songwriter who first captured the world’s attention with his debut release ’Sade’, a beautiful highlife cover of One Direction’s ’Story of My Life’. Adekunle Gold has always been more than a musician. Using his background in graphic design and marketing, he initially built an online following through viral photoshopped images and memes. At the time he was a graphic designer for the Nigerian powerhouse label YBNL. Following the release of his first single, YBNL offered him a record deal.

Across his discography, Adekunle Gold has garnered over 2.5 billion streams and collaborated with some of the world’s biggest musicians including Pharrell, Ty Dolla $ign, Davido, Nile Rodgers, Coco Jones and many more. His latest album ‘Fuji’ is inspired by the sound of Fuji that he grew up on & now he's bringing this magical blend of live instrumentation and cultural rhythm to the Podium ZWART studio.
