Swedish duo Beata Olsson and Cornelia Kapocs helped Liverpool end a run of five consecutive home defeats in Merseyside derbies with a deserved win over Everton ⚽🔥.

Liverpool took the lead at Anfield from a corner, scoring the fastest goal in a Women's Super League derby between the sides.

Gareth Taylor's side made the points safe with four minutes of normal time remaining when Kapocs swivelled inside the box and fired a low effort into the corner of the net.

Liverpool's victory gave them consecutive wins over their city rivals for the first time since they won three in a row across 2013 and 2014.

The result also helped the Reds leapfrog Everton into fifth place in the WSL table.
