❤️ I NEVER KNEW HE WAS THE ONE — PART 1

I never believed I could fall in love with someone I barely noticed.

His name was David.

We worked in the same office, but we hardly spoke. He was quiet, respectful, and always kept to himself.

One Monday morning, I was rushing into the office when I accidentally bumped into someone.

My handbag fell to the floor.

“Oh my God, I’m so sorry!” I said quickly.

When I looked up, it was David.

He smiled as he picked up my things.

“It’s okay. Are you always this busy in the morning?”

I laughed. “Maybe.”

He handed me my bag.

“Here you go.”

“Thank you.”

That was our first real conversation.

After that day, I started noticing him more.

He would always greet me in the morning. Sometimes he would bring an extra cup of coffee and leave it on my desk without saying anything.

One afternoon, I finally asked him, “Why do you always bring coffee for me?”

He smiled.

“Because I noticed you never come to work without one.”

I looked at him in surprise.

“You actually noticed that?”

“I notice more things about you than you think.”

My heart skipped.

I quickly looked away.

I didn’t know it then, but those simple words were the beginning of something that would completely change my life.

But there was one thing I didn’t know about David…

He had already met someone from my past.

And when I found out who it was, everything changed.
