This lady right here is a single mom of one. She works in a cleaning company that also operates in the mines where I work. I got into a conversation with her even though her English is not fluent and my Portuguese is not fluent too but we understand the message each other is trying to pass.

She asked me what am doing in Angola and I replied I came to work just like you who is a citizen. She said she's lucky to get the job and is happily working hard enough to raise her daughter. I asked about the father and she said please forget about it am fixing my life. It got me thinking because coming down to the part of the world I come from most single moms in Nigeria wouldn't want to work rather they rely on friends and family to raise the child. My question is if you can't raise the child alone give the responsibility to the father or at least co-parenting still work. You can't be raising your child with hopes on family and friends. Get a job no matter how little it is. There's dignity in labor.

Please do not get pregnant with your hopes on family and friends and as a man /guy who intends to pregnant a woman please put your house in order do not go about hoping that friends and family will come to your aid. Those people you're hoping on have tons of problem they're attending to. Get a job before releasing your manhood and as a woman close your legs if both of you are jobless.
