AJEDE TAKES RELIEF MATERIALS TO EZHIOKPOR FLOOD VICTIMS

The Executive Chairman of Ukwuani Local Government Area, Hon. Possible Solomon Ajede (PhD), today distributed relief materials to residents of Ezhiokpor Community affected by the recent flooding in the area.

Speaking during the distribution, the Chairman said the intervention was aimed at supporting families whose homes and farmlands were adversely affected by the flood.

He commended the people of Ezhiokpor for their warm reception, describing the atmosphere in the community as electrifying and joyous.

Hon. Ajede further commended the Counsellor representing Ezhiokpor, Hon. Christian Odalonu, for his prompt response to the plight of his constituents and for bringing the situation to the attention of the Local Government Council.

He assured the people that the Council would continue to pay attention to the needs of communities affected by the flood and provide support within its capacity.

The Onochie Eze of Ezhiokpor Community, Chief Osekene Richard, alongside other traditional chiefs and community leaders, was on ground to receive the Council Chairman and his entourage.

The intervention reflects the commitment of the Ukwuani Local Government Council to supporting residents affected by natural disasters and responding promptly to the needs of vulnerable communities.
