The murder trial of slain socialite Abby Choi is starting in Hong Kong this week. This trial will last 45 days.

Abby was a social media influencer and model in Hong Kong and very wealthy and well off.

She had 4 kids before her death.

Abby was murdered by her ex husband and his father and brother.

They butchered her up, cut her into tiny pieces and made her into soup.

Why?

Abby was sponsoring the family. She divorced him (Alex Kwong) after 2 kids and continued paying for his bills and the bills of his father and his brother.

They all lived in her luxury house while she moved on and found a new partner. Eventually she had 2 more kids for her new husband Chris Tam. But she continued sponsoring her ex husband’s family.

Abby bought lots of properties in her ex husband’s name during their time together. Including a $73M apartment she bought in his father’s name which he and his father and his brother lived in. This property was the reason she was gruesomely murdered.

She asked his family to move out of her property into a less luxurious property she owned.

And instead, they killed her. Butchered her with a saw and cooked her with carrots

Unfortunately, Hong Kong doesn’t have the death penalty. So this family would be sentenced to life in prison.

Abby’s current husband is taking care of all 4 kids.
