HOW DO YOU KNOW IF AN EMPLOYEE IS PERFORMING WELL?
You can't always rely on assumptions.
Performance should be reviewed against clear responsibilities, targets and expected standards. That is where performance appraisal comes in.
It helps organisations understand what employees are doing well, where they need improvement and what support they may need.

Felix: I don’t think once a year is enough, regular check ins help people know where they stand and what they can do better.
Omotoso Taiwo Yemi: Should be every month
Mild Uchenna: It all depends on the organization and how it is wired. Some review their KPI weekly, monthly, quarterly , or yearly.
Gyang Isaac: It's best every 6 months
Ivy's corner: Once in a year nooo,it should happen once in every 3 month l think is fair.
Ibukunoladunni: No I think it should happen quarterly
Joseph The Dreamer: If possible every month is recommended as new employee, as employees build reputation it can be occasional since his performance will be noticed before any schedule assessment.
