Never be in a hurry to buy gadgets. Because you go cry!

Gadgets business is probably the only business that both the original and the counterfeit stay in the room and half of the visitors won't know. So before you buy any device, or gadget, from Cable to phone to battery to charger and most importantly, powerbank, be sure to check properly to be sure you are buying the original product.

How do you know?

1. You have to be familiar with the company's logo and name. Not from afar. From close up. Look at the spellings, the design, the font and any hidden clue that might scream, "I don't belong here". Because these people are very good in copying popular brands.

2. If it's a product with warranty, discuss it with your vendor and carefully understand the right channel to follow and redeem your warranty, should anything go wrong. Products like Itel Earpods and watch, comes with a warranty card. Check for it and be sure your vendor explain how it's done.

3. Buy from a known vendor. By all means, stop buying gadgets at motor parks and most importantly, at night. You are 99.9 percent at risk of being sold a fake when you buy from motor parks and at night.
Why?
Because these people know they ain't seeing you again so whatever you get, you take it while they wait for another victim.

4. Be careful with that "na still Oraimo do this one". If it is not the brand you want, it is not the brand. Most brands have other names but it is widely known as their affiliates not necessarily a different name or brand being marketed as theirs.

5. High price doesn't necessarily mean high quality. So vendors hike their price above average and claim to be selling premium while it is indeed, a fake. Cheap can just be normal instead of substandard as widely presumed.

6. Known brand doesn't necessarily mean Good brand. Be open to try new brands but only when the vendor gives a warranty. If there is no warranty, run away. And stick to the ones with warranty.

Now, warranty has its limitations. It doesn't cover things like cables or charger or Earpiece or earphones or other minor gadgets. So know the ones the company cover and be sure your vendor explains it to you.

In all, be wise and sharp. Gadget people knows exactly how to cheat and convince people into buying that product they don't know how to sell. I personally would lay everything bare to you and explain them. The choice is on you. But if you ask for recommendations, I would recommend with warranty.
