Subject: Urgent Need for AI CCTV, Drone Surveillance, and Rapid Response for Missing Persons Cases in Nigeria in the 36 states 774 LGA

Your Excellency President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Inspector General of Police, and Nigerian Security Agencies,Governor of Ogun state 240 million Nigerians are writing to express my deep concern regarding the reported disappearance of Imole Ilesanmi in Agbado, Ogun State. According to a report by The Punch, her family reported that she went missing on September 20, 2026, and efforts to locate her are ongoing.

Cases like this highlight the urgent need for stronger technology-driven public safety systems across Nigeria's 36 states and 774 local government areas. Every missing Nigerian case should trigger an immediate emergency response utilizing available technology and investigative resources.

We respectfully demand the Federal Government and the Nigeria Police Force to consider:

Expanding AI-enabled CCTV camera coverage in cities, towns, highways, schools, markets, and transportation hubs.
Deploying drone surveillance units to assist in search-and-rescue operations and missing-person investigations.
Establishing a nationwide Missing Persons Alert System capable of sending real-time alerts to citizens.
Creating integrated command centers that allow police, emergency services, and local authorities to coordinate investigations rapidly.
Improving forensic and investigative capabilities to ensure every missing-person report receives immediate attention.

Nigerians expect effective security services and timely responses when citizens disappear. Families should not have to wait extended periods without answers regarding the whereabouts of their loved ones.

We respectfully demand that all relevant authorities continue efforts to locate Imole Ilesanmi and provide support to her family while pursuing all investigative leads.

The safety of every 240 million Nigerian citizen should remain a national priority not a political game
