Seeing young people boldly and sadly talk about how they used their parents for sacrifice, some living with deep regrets, while others are still considering doing the same, is deeply disturbing.

This is why we will not stop reaching out to this younger generation.

Because somewhere along the line, we have created a society where many young people are beginning to believe that money is everything. That having money is the ultimate measure of success. That anything is acceptable as long as money is involved.

And we are seeing the consequences.

Money is important, but money is not everything.

Our children need to understand that there is more to life than wealth, possessions and material success. They need values. They need purpose. They need godly guidance. They need to understand the value of human life and the consequences of their choices.

The Bible says, “For the love of money is the root of all kinds of evil.”

This is why we will keep doing the work.

We will keep talking to them.
We will keep teaching them.
We will keep reminding them that success without character is not success.

And we will keep preaching that old but timeless message:

“But godliness with contentment is great gain.” — 1 Timothy 6:6

Our young people need to hear this message again and again.

Because money should never become more valuable than life.
