THE LOVE WE FINALLY FOUND

Episode 13 — The Secret Between Their Fathers
Daniel stared at Amara's mother.
“My father?”
She nodded slowly.
“Your father wasn't the villain you think he was… but he wasn't innocent either.”
Daniel's jaw tightened.
“What did he do?”
“He discovered that Richard was stealing money from the company.”
Amara interrupted.
“And my father?”
“He discovered it too.”
Her mother wiped her tears.
“Your fathers planned to expose Richard together. But before they could, they discovered something worse.”
Daniel stepped closer.
“What?”
“They found out that money had been transferred using your father's identity.”
Amara looked confused.
“Then someone was framing him?”
“Yes.”
Her mother pulled out an old notebook.
“Your father believed the person behind it was someone inside the family.”
Daniel took the notebook.
Inside were names, dates and transactions.
Then he saw something that made him stop.
One name appeared repeatedly.
Sophia's father.
Daniel looked at Sophia.
“Your father was involved?”
Sophia's eyes filled with tears.
“I didn't know.”
Daniel continued reading.
Then he found the final entry.
“If anything happens to me, the person who knows the truth is the woman I trusted most.”
Amara's mother suddenly looked away.
Daniel looked at her.
“You.”
She nodded.
“I knew.”
Amara stepped closer to her.
“Then why didn't you tell us?”
Her mother took a shaky breath.
“Because your father made me promise to protect you.”
Amara's eyes filled with tears.
“Protect me from who?”
Her mother looked at Daniel.
Then whispered:
“From the person who caused the accident that almost killed your father.”
Daniel froze.
Amara grabbed his hand.
“What accident?”
Her mother opened her mouth to answer.
But before she could speak, someone knocked violently on the door.
Three loud knocks.
Everyone went silent.
Then a man's voice came from outside.
“Amara… it's your uncle. We need to talk.”
