Some heroes never get the chance to see the impact of their final act. 🕊️

On July 24, 2024, 49-year-old school van driver Semalaiyappan was taking nearly 20 children home in Tamil Nadu when he suddenly suffered severe chest pain. Despite the medical emergency, he remained focused long enough to safely pull the van to the side of the road, protecting every child onboard before collapsing.

He was rushed to the hospital, but doctors declared him dead on arrival. His wife, who worked as a helper at the same school, was reportedly also in the van.

In his final moments, Semalaiyappan put the children's safety before his own. ❤️🙏

His sacrifice was later honored by Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin, who announced ₹5 lakh in financial assistance for his family.
