MEN AS GATEKEEPERS |

📖 MATTHEW 27:57–60 KJV
When the even was come, there came a rich man of Arimathaea, named Joseph… He went to Pilate, and begged the body of Jesus… And laid it in his own new tomb.

There are seasons in your life when the people positioned at certain gates will matter greatly to what happens to you.

God can raise men as gatekeepers—men He strategically positions at sensitive duty posts, decision-making tables, institutions, organizations, and places where matters concerning your life and destiny are being decided.

A gatekeeper is not necessarily the person who gives you what you need.

Sometimes, he is the person who controls access to where the decision is being made.

There are moments when your name will be mentioned in rooms you are not in.

There are moments when your matter will be discussed when and where you are not present.

There are moments when decisions concerning your life, contract, business, career, opportunity, assistance, or destiny will be made by people you may never have met.

May God raise men who will speak for you in those rooms.

Men who will remember you when your name is mentioned.

Men who will speak on your behalf when others are saying, “Crucify him!”

Men whose words will not work against your destiny, but will align with what God has ordained concerning your life.

Think about Jesus.

After His crucifixion, His body could have been treated like the bodies of other criminals.

But Joseph of Arimathaea, a man of influence, went boldly to Pilate and asked for the body of Jesus.

When the even was come, there came a rich man of Arimathaea, named Joseph…

He went to Pilate, and begged the body of Jesus… And laid it in his own new tomb. (Matthew 27:58-60)

This week, may God raise men for you.

Men at the gates.
Men at the tables.

Men in decision-making rooms.

Men in places of influence.

Men who have access where you do not.

Men who will speak when you cannot speak for yourself.

Men who will remember you when others forget you.

Men whose decisions, recommendations and interventions will align with God's purpose for your life.

May the Lord position the right gatekeepers around your destiny, contracts, business, career, ministry, finances, opportunities, help and assistance.

And where decisions concerning you are being made, may grace cause the right voices to speak in your favor.

This week and beyond, may God raise men who will stand at strategic gates and say, “Give him access.

Give her an opportunity. Let his matter be heard. Let her name be remembered.

May men be strategically positioned by God to help His counsel concerning your life come to pass in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
