NOT EVERYONE DESERVES ACCESS TO YOU
One of the hardest lessons life teaches us is that being a good person does not mean giving everyone unlimited access to you.
You can love people and still have boundaries.
You can forgive someone and still decide not to trust them the same way again.
You can wish someone well and still understand that they no longer belong in your inner circle.
And most importantly, saying “NO” does not automatically make you selfish.
Sometimes, saying “NO” is how you protect your peace.
We often feel guilty because we were taught to be kind, helpful and available. But there is a difference between being kind and allowing people to continually take advantage of your kindness.
Not every person who needs you deserves access to every part of you.
Not everyone who knows you deserves to know everything about you.
And not everyone who was once close to you is meant to remain close forever.
Boundaries are not walls. They are doors—and you get to decide who comes through them.
So ask yourself:
Are you keeping certain people close because they genuinely deserve the space they occupy in your life…
or because you are afraid of what they will say if you finally let them go?
Let's talk.
Do you believe that you can be a good person and still be very strict about who has access to you?
Or do you think strong boundaries can sometimes make people selfish?
