Subject: Congratulations to Nigerian Students in the 36 states 774 LGA and a Call for Education, Jobs, Security, and Infrastructure Reforms

Your Excellencies President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, State Governors of the 36 States, Senators, Members of the House of Representatives, Local Government Chairpersons, and Public Officials,

First, we would like to congratulate Nigerian students for their hard work and academic achievements in the 2026 National Examinations Council (NECO) examinations. Reports indicate that Kano State recorded 74,413 candidates with at least five credits, including English and Mathematics, while Lagos State and Oyo State also recorded strong performances. These results demonstrate the potential of Nigerian children when given educational opportunities.

As concerned 240 million Nigerians, we respectfully demand leaders at all levels of government to place education, job creation, infrastructure, and security above politics.

We demand consideration of the following priorities:

Expand access to free and affordable education from primary school through university and postgraduate studies for qualified students.
Increase investments in modern schools, laboratories, libraries, teacher training, and educational technology.
Create large-scale employment opportunities in information technology, engineering, healthcare, agriculture, accounting, skilled trades, manufacturing, and entrepreneurship.
Build and modernize hospitals, healthcare facilities, and vocational training centers.
Repair and construct roads throughout all states and local government areas.
Improve electricity generation and distribution to support businesses, schools, hospitals, and households.
Expand broadband access and digital connectivity to support learning and economic development.
Strengthen security so that farmers can safely return to their fields, children can attend school safely, and communities can prosper.
Increase transparency and accountability in government spending and public projects.

240 million Nigerians believe that the nation's greatest resource is its young Nigerians. Investments in education, skills development, healthcare, technology, agriculture, and infrastructure can help prepare future generations to compete successfully in the global economy.

240 million Nigerians demand measurable results, including better schools, functioning hospitals, reliable infrastructure, job opportunities, and safer communities. Progress in these areas would improve the quality of life for millions of Nigerians and strengthen confidence in public institutions.

We respectfully demand on all elected officials, regardless of political party, to work together in pursuit of these goals and to place the welfare of 240 million Nigerians at the center of public policy.
