Subject: Request for Support of Transparency, Democratic Reforms, and Security Improvements in Nigeria
Greetings Your Excellencies Esteemed United States Government Officials, 240 million Nigerians are writing as a concerned citizen to respectfully request continued support for transparency, accountability, democratic governance, and public safety in Nigeria.
We respectfully urge the United States government to support lawful transparency measures regarding public records that may be subject to disclosure under U.S. law and court processes. Any records concerning public officials should be handled in accordance with the law, judicial rulings, due process, and public interest considerations.
We also ask the United States to encourage the Government of Nigeria, including President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Vice President Kashim Shettima, Senate President Godswill Akpabio, and other elected leaders, to strengthen democratic institutions and electoral integrity. This may include expanding the use of modern technology such as AI-assisted CCTV systems, election monitoring tools, and security technologies that can help protect voters, election workers, and electoral infrastructure.
Furthermore, we urge support for initiatives that improve the quality of life of 240 million Nigerians in the 36 states 774 LGA through:
Expanded access to reliable electricity.
Increased broadband internet and affordable digital connectivity.
Improved transportation infrastructure and safer road networks.
Greater transparency in public spending and project implementation.
Enhanced educational and economic opportunities for young people.
Nigeria continues to face security challenges from terrorist and criminal groups. We respectfully ask that the United States continue cooperating with Nigeria to strengthen counterterrorism efforts, improve intelligence sharing, protect civilians, and support lawful measures aimed at reducing violence and insecurity.
Nigeria is home to 240 million Nigerians of hardworking people who deserve peace, security, economic opportunity, transparent governance, and credible democratic processes. Strong international partnerships can help advance these important goals.

FYI reports indicate that Bola Ahmed Tinubu has asked a U.S. court to keep certain FBI and DEA records withheld or redacted on privacy grounds in an ongoing FOIA case. The existence of the records request or lawsuit does not itself establish criminal wrongdoing. No countries or leaders are perfect Nigerian govt, opposition parties, independent candidates, courts, efcc, military, police, navy can do better do the needful if they are serious respectfully we mean no disrespect we demand a better Nigeria for Nigerian children in the 36 states 774 LGA we rest our case
