TROOPS STORM T£RR⁰R!ST HIDEOUT IN SOKOTO — ONE N£UTRALIZED, AK-47 RECOVERED!

This is what we do. This is what we live for.

Troops of Sector 2, Operation FANSAN YAMMA, have raided a suspected t£rr0r!st hideout in Gudu LGA of Sokoto State. Acting on credible intelligence about terrorists gathering around Karani village, our men moved in.

They advanced on the camp. They made contact. They engaged with superior firepower.

One t£rr0r!st neutralized. Others fled into the forest.

But we didn't stop there. During exploitation of the camp, we recovered:
🔫 One AK-47 rifle loaded with live ammunition
🏍️ One operational motorcycle
👕 Military camouflage uniforms
🔧 Maintenance tools and other logistical supplies

After the encounter, troops conducted clearance operations across the surrounding forest to dominate the area and deny the fleeing terrorists freedom of movement.

The weapons and equipment are in our custody. The operation continues. We are tracking every fleeing member. We are dismantling their networks.

To the terrorists you can run, but you cannot hide. The forest is no longer your safe haven.

To the troops well done. Stay sharp. Stay deadly.

To the people of Sokoto we are coming for every last one of them. Stay strong. Stay vigilant.
