UKWADI APPOLONIA Ogugua: An apology can acknowledge our pain, but it is not the only thing that can heal us. Sometimes, choosing peace is more important than waiting for someone else to admit they were wrong.
UKWADI APPOLONIA Ogugua: Sometimes, the closure we are waiting for will never come from the person who hurt us. We have to learn to heal, forgive ourselves and move forward --- even when the apology never comes.
Adebukola Adenike: I can forgive without receiving an apology but sometimes that sorry is needed more than we thought
Joseph The Dreamer: Why not, I will forgive him and set boundaries, I won't forget though for not to fall victim again
CSO intl: I believe you can forgive someone who never apologizes. Forgiveness is not saying what they did was okay; sometimes it is simply choosing not to carry the pain anymore. ❤️
UKWADI APPOLONIA Ogugua: That's true.Because it will make you get your inner peace back.
Rev Goodidea Asks.: Forgiveness should not always depend on receiving an apology. Sometimes, the apology may never come, but choosing to let go can still bring peace and freedom to the heart. What happened may not have been okay, but you don’t have to carry the pain forever. ❤️
Joy&raph: You don’t necessarily need to wait for someone who has once offended you to come and apologize before you forgive them. Most times you have to forgive them for your mental health and peace of mind.
You are doing a great job here.
