Jimmy Carr spent years travelling the world only to confidently declare that everyone else is butchering the English language.
So Trevor Noah and Eugene did the only reasonable thing: introduced him to a bunch of South African sounds that English never even tried to invent… sounds so perfect for storytelling that they make “once upon a time” sound like a tragic understatement.
Turns out the real pronunciation problem wasn’t the rest of the world.
