“Some wounds don't need an apology to heal; they need distance.”
Lesson:
Sometimes you keep waiting for someone to say “I'm sorry,” believing those two words will undo everything. But healing doesn't always arrive through their mouth. Sometimes it arrives when you stop checking their page, stop replaying the conversation, stop waiting for the message, and finally accept that the closure you wanted may never come. You don't need their apology to give yourself permission to move on.
