This morning was really hectic. I left home before 6:00am and got to the bus stop, but I couldn’t get a bus. I waited for more than 1 hour and I nearly cried. All the buses were full because of the sanitation exercise that was held today.

Luckily for me, my street baba saw me there. We were both going the same route, Mile 2. I told him I had been standing there for over an hour and couldn’t get a bus. He suggested we go to the bus stop before ours.

As we were about leaving, we sighted an Alhaji who lives in the same area with us buying fuel at the filling station close to our bus stop. Ah, that joy! He signalled for us to wait. We made the U-turn and boom, we entered his car.

I didn’t pay shishi 😂 I used the money to buy egg roll and a drink first. The fare was supposed to be ₦800,but because people were rushing to leave before the sanitation, the price went up to #1500.Normal Lasgidi pattern, na wetin we dey suffer.

My people, I hope today’s sanitation didn’t make your movement difficult?
