THE MAN WHO RETURNED AFTER 10 YEARS
He disappeared without explanation.
No goodbye.
No phone call.
Nothing.
She eventually moved on.
Got married.
Had children.
Built a beautiful life.
Ten years later, someone knocked on her door.
She opened it.
It was him.
Older.
Different.
But she knew him immediately.
He said:
"I know I have no right to be here."
She replied:
"You're right."
He nodded.
Then he handed her an envelope.
Inside was a photograph of the two of them.
And a letter explaining why he disappeared.
She read the first line.
Then sat down.
Because the truth was something she had never imagined.
