Did you know that Smartwatches are called smart because of what they do not because of their beauty, but because of their functions?

So many people come for smartwatch and yet, their focus is on fancy, beauty or something shiny. While I sell both, I always take my time to advise them, getting to know what they are looking for and offering them a device that can serve such purpose.

If you want a smartwatch that can actually play smart, go for known brands, or if you must, go for ones that are simple one watch.

Talk about Oraimo, New Age, Itel, Samsung, Apple, Infinix, Rexi and the rest. These brands have a wide range of smart phones that do many things depending on the level you go for. And do not make the mistake of thinking that ever smartwatch does general body monitoring.

There are some that are simply for running, for steps, for calories and other simple functions. Then there are ones that go further to monitor blood level, heartrate, oxygen level, BP and other complicated functions.

Good thing is, they are equally cheap.

So be sure of what you want before you buy and ask, to be sure the one you are buying is doing what you need it for. Don't just rely on the testimony of the seller, because my colleagues can sometimes lie just to make sells.

However, you see those I90 and I20 and Al the Ultra 20 that comes in big boxes and different straps, those ones that give free ear pod and free paracetamol, run from them if truly you need a device to work it.

Not only will they pack up after a few use, they will constantly remind you why there are many freebies inside it.

But if your aim of owning a smartwatch is to be fashionable, by all means go for them. It gives you room to change straps to match your outfits and all but when it tell you that you have lost 700 calories in 20 minutes, please do not complain. Na wetin you look for, you fine.

Lastly, you can be accurate and still be fashionable. Most Smartwatches comes with detachable straps, and there varieties of straps available in the market. So you can get a good one and get straps to match.
