Governor Alex Otti is trying to play a smart and balanced game ahead of the 2027 presidential election. During his interview with Arise News journalist Ojy Okpe yesterday, he said he is not opposed to President Bola Tinubu’s candidacy, while also stating that he supports the Labour Party’s presidential candidate.
The statement may seem ambiguous and confusing, but it appears that he is simply trying to maintain a balanced position. Deep inside him he knows who himself and his supporters will work for in the next year election.
